A Journey into Citizen-led Energy Efficienc

The Energy Efficiency Directive has given Europe a roadmap to pursue our green transition objectives through the renovation of our homes and their thermal energy systems. The scale of this exercise is massive, and its success will depend on a correct implementation of the EED. But how can this be done with citizens at its centre?

To this end REScoop.eu, the European Federation of Energy Communities, is organising a webinar within the EU Energy Efficiency Days to showcase examples of renovations and thermal energy installations driven by citizens, and how they overcame existing implementation barriers.

To make it interactive and relevant for the audience, rather than a presentation-Q&A system, the session will be an open conversation between participants interested in energy efficiency implementation, and local implementers. The 60-minute webinar will aim to bring together EU policymakers, community representatives working on energy efficiency projects, and EE stakeholders to discuss how to deliver local, citizen-led energy efficiency transitions.
